Individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures will come together to celebrate the growing acceptance of mindful cannabis consumption and the diverse businesses, organizations, and individuals contributing to Illinois’ legal cannabis ecosystem.

This year’s honorees include Cook County Commissioner Bill Lowery, Chairman of the Cook County Cannabis Commission, who helped launch Cook County’s $4 million cannabis grant program in 2024 to support equity-focused businesses; and nationally recognized attorney Bryna Dahlin, partner and chair of the Cannabis Industry Group at Benesch, where she advises companies nationwide on regulatory compliance, business strategy, and brand protection.
